so, after nearly 5 months without a computer, i finally caved and got myself a big bad iMac today. i'm SO pumped! although my iPad + bluetooth keyboard was a good alternative, there's nothing quite like browsing the endless interweb on this sexy beast. of course, i needed this for "school work", but i do hope to stay on top of blogging (i've got a lot to say) and really work on my photography schtuff. we shall see!

anywho, it's all just kind of hitting me that it's september and that means summer is on the way out. what an amazing summer i had! i was studying for a big exam during the first half of the summer but spent all of it unemployed and out of school. it was ridiculously amazing. it was surprisingly hard at first because i had to re-learn how to sit still. but, damn, once i got the hang of it- i was really good! i have never ever read so many magazines (whole living, my fav) and i certainly have not been that tan since high school. it was pretty phenomenal and tremendously needed. now, grad school has started and i'm kinda sorta working 3 jobs. none of which pay living wages...ouch. professional experience vs. financial stability. why were we always so excited to grow up??

i will make this a useful blog at some point. again, i'm workin' on it...
